DataLink Data Highway Plus Interface

DL3000-KFX : The DataLink DL3000-KFX is DataLink’s latest serial DF1 to DH+ interface. Using A-B's standard DF1 driver, the DL3000-KFX will interface any computer or control device to DH+ networks running at 57.6 or 115.2 Kbaud. While functionally similar to the DL2000-KFX, the DL3000 is much smaller, weighs just over 0.5 lbs, and supports serial baud rates of up to 230.4 Kbaud. The unit is desktop or DIN rail mountable, and with an optional AC to DC adapter is ideal for use with a laptop or modem.

Lantronix Software

DeviceComm Manager Software is a free COM port redirection software application for PC platforms. Its function is to redirect customer application data destined for a local serial (COM) port on a PC.

Rather than going out the local port, the data is transmitted across the Ethernet network using TCP/IP. A Device Server attached to the network receives the data and presents it on its serial port. Conversely, data into the serial port of the device server is sent back to the customer application via the network to the DeviceComm Manager. The DeviceComm Manager then presents the data to the customer application as if it were from a local serial COM port.

CoBox-DR1 : Lantronix’s CoBox-DR1 is a 12-24 VDC DIN rail mounted serial to Ethernet interface supporting 10 Base-T Ethernet. The unit supports serial speeds of up to 38.4 Kbps, and features flash ROM for easy firmware upgrades. With RS232 screw terminal connectors, the unit can be connected to the DL3000-KFX easily and quickly to give you an Ethernet to Data Highway Plus interface. The CoBox-DR1 is easily configured through any Terminal program such as HyperTerminal. The CoBox-DR1 comes with free upgrades, technical support, and a 5 year limited warranty.

CoBox-E2 : Lantronix’s CoBox-E2 is an AC-powered serial to Ethernet interface which supports 10 Base-T Ethernet. The –E2 has 2 serial ports: 1 DB25 (with DCE style RS232 port), and 1 DB9 (with DTE style RS232 port). Serial speeds up to 115.2 Kbps on each port provide a faster serial connection to the DataLink than with the -DR1 unit. The -E2 also has both an RJ45 connector and an AUI Ethernet port. The CoBox-E2 is easily configured through any Terminal program such as HyperTerminal, and, like the CoBox-DR1, the -E2 comes with free upgrades, tech support, and a 5 year limited warranty.
