Modbus/ASCII Interface to Modbus TCP and Ethernet/IP
The DL5000-ETH Communicator enables Modbus and Generic Data (ASCII) serial application protocols to exchange data with Ethernet TCP/IP, EtherNet I/P and Modbus TCP networks. The DL5000 Communicator is an external DIN rail device that connects Ethernet networks to serial interface devices and networks using standard connectors.
The DL5000-ETH enables PCs, PLCs and MMIs as well as OEM equipment such as bar-code readers, printers, scales, process control devices etc., to connect to standard and industrial Ethernet networks.
The Communicator is fully configurable through a user-friendly Windows configuration program that enables a PC to configure certain fieldbus parameters as well as all serial sub-network properties.
