Modbus/ASCII Interface to DeviceNet
The DL5000-DVN Communicator enables Modbus and Generic Data (ASCII) serial application protocols to share data with DeviceNet devices and networks. The DL5000 Communicator is an external DIN rail device that connects DeviceNet networks to serial interface devices and networks using standard connectors.
The DL5000-DVN enables PCs, PLCs and MMIs as well as OEM equipment such as bar-code readers, printers, scales, process control devices etc., to connect to DeviceNet.
The Communicator is fully configurable through a user-friendly Windows configuration program that enables a PC to configure certain fieldbus parameters as well as all serial sub-network properties.
