DL3500-DH-485/IAP: Ethernet/IP to AB's DH-485 using CIP & 2222 Protocols.

Gateway between Legacy AB PLCs and AB Ethernet.

  • DataLink now offers the DL3500-DH-485/IAP package that significantly reduces your AB Ethernet upgrading costs as you don't need to replace each DH-485 PLC processor/device. Simply make the DL3500-DH-485/IAP a node on DH+ and then interface to your AB Ethernet.
  • AB PLC users can interface bi-directionally between Allen-Bradley Data Highway (DH-485) and AB Ethernet (CIP & 2222 protocols).
  • AB Ethernet (Master) to DH-485 is the optimal communication direction. This allows multiple AB Ethernet (CIP and 2222) devices to communicate to multiple DH-485 nodes using the DataLink DL3500-DH-485/IAP.
  • Ethernet IP to DH+ protocol converter

DataLink offers the DL3500-DH-485/IAP package, a combined solution using the Digi One IAP with our DL3500-DH-485/DF1.

DL3500-DH-485/DF1: Using A-B's standard DF1 driver, the DL3500-DH-485/DF1 (replacement to the 1770-KF3) will interface any computer or control device to DH+ networks running up to 230.4Kb. This palm-sized controller has DIN rail options, AC/DC option, and has either USB or serial functionality

Digi One IAP: is a device server and a protocol bridge rolled into one. The device server functionality allows virtually any device with a serial port to be connected to a TCP/IP network.

The protocol conversion portion of Digi One IAP means that Digi can actually bridge together two industrial devices provided that they speak any of the supported serial (DF1, Modbus, ASCII) or Ethernet (ModbusTCP, AB/Ethernet, Ethernet/IP) protocols.

DL3500-DH-485/IAP Applications Include: The ability to take multiple DH+ destination addresses and map to multiple Ethernet/IP addresses or multiple PLCs. A PLC on DH-485 can initiate a message through the device to read a register from a PLC5/40E using the AB 222 (ethernet) protocol.
